How GPS Tracking Technology Works

Understanding the technology behind vehicle tracking

GPS Satellites

The GPS tracker receives signals from multiple GPS satellites orbiting the Earth to determine its exact location.

GPS Device

The GPS module in the tracker calculates its position (latitude, longitude) with high accuracy using satellite data.

Cellular Network

The location data is transmitted via GSM/GPRS cellular network (Airtel SIM) to our tracking servers.

Your Device

You can view the real-time location on your mobile app or web browser from anywhere in the world.

Step-by-step installation instructions

Locate Power Source

Find a 12V constant power source in your vehicle. This is usually available near the fuse box, ignition wiring, or battery.

Connect Wires

Connect the red wire to 12V+, black wire to ground (GND), and yellow wire to ACC (ignition) for ignition detection.

Connect Relay

For remote engine cut-off feature, connect the relay to the fuel pump or starter motor circuit as per the guide.

Hide the Device

Place the GPS tracker in a hidden location inside the vehicle dashboard, under seats, or in the trunk area.

Test the Device

Turn on your vehicle and check if the device LED is blinking. Login to the app to verify tracking is working.

Secure Wiring

Use cable ties to secure all wiring properly. Ensure no loose wires that could cause shorts or disconnections.
